Sunset at Wimea Bay. Just us two sexy Hawaiian lovers.
Kayaking at Kailua Bay.
Cliff jumping at Hidden Cove.
Dinner at an authentic Thai restaurant after hiking up Koko crater.
Sunset at Turtle Bay.
Turtle Bay. The resort there is fantastic. We didn't stay there, but we pretended we did for a few evenings. :)
The first thing I said to Jacob after we stepped off the plane in Hawaii was, "How about we just move here and stay forever?" At the time that statement was based solely upon the feel of the warm ocean breeze on my face and the sight of exotic tropical plants lining the walkway. That was before we toured the island and saw how beautiful it all was. It's tempting, when you both have jobs that can go anywhere, but after about a week of missing our little boy and the mountains, we said goodbye to paradise. It was probably the most romantic, refreshing, adventurous week of my life. We were asked several times if we were honeymooners, and we really felt like we were. *Sigh* When can I go back? Anyway, here is a handful of pictures. Perhaps someday I will post more, but with my recent blogging track record there is no guarantee... I'm horrible at formatting my blog so the pictures are placed weird and I couldn't figure out how to get it to let me write a caption for each one. Oh well. Better than nothing!

I'm JEALOUS!!! Wow, it looks like you guys had an amazing time! I miss Hawaii so much! (How was the kayaking by the way? We were gonna do that but when we finally made our way to Kailua Bay on the last day or so and it was pouring rain). :( Hope it was awesome. I have been thinking about you and hoping that you guys were having fun out there! Aloha!
YUM YUM paradise!!! Glad you had fun, isn't it dreamy!!? Why do I live in UTAH!!!!?? Dave and I still want to find a way to live there some day. We didn't get to Kailua bay, it looks gorgeous. We'll have to get a detailed report!PS I read that old blog of the worst nursing experiences, KATIE!!!! I laughed too hard when I probably should have been CRYING!!!! Those poor people and you poor sweet angel to take care of all those bum bums.
Gorgeous pictures! It looks like such a wonderful time. Just beautiful and refreshing and tropical!
I got your message about hair and I wish I could cut that gorgeous hair for you! I lloovvee your hair. Von Curtis has closed but most of the girls moved to David Douglas Salon which is in the same shopping center. I don't have the number but I'm sure you could get it. I would recommend going to Lindsay or Mariah or Cherice. Or one of my best friends works at Suggestions Salon in Orem and her name is Megan Riskas. She is really good too. Aloha
GORGEOUS pics! I'm so jealous. It looks like you had an amazing time.
I read the previous comment about hair...Megan Riskas was in my last ward and she IS good. I didn't get a chance to know her very well, but I think you'd love her.
p.s. I'm done nursing Ava and was wondering what other herbal things I can do for my complexion...just when you have time. my email is jadrysdale{at}gmail{dot}com
