I Might As Well Be 80...

We don't have the internet anymore. We figured since Jake is at his brother's all day long and has full access to it, we can live with that until it drives us crazy. Of course that means I will rarely be blogging until that changes. Just giving a fair warning. :) The worst part, though? Not being able to watch all my favorite online episodes... we don't have a TV, either. And my computer recently self-destructed so we can't even watch DVD's on it. And did I mention that we also do not have a dishwasher, garbage disposal, or microwave? At least we have running water and indoor plumbing. :) But really, I do love our new place. It's cozy and nice. Lots of storage. Big yard. Lots of cupboard space. New carpet. I can deal.

I started work at the hospital. WOW it is so BUSY. It's so easy to forget how insane a shift at the hospital can be. I was up to my armpits in diarrhea yesterday, and today was sputum day. Gotta love it. Anyway, gotta run. Oh and my baby is doing great and Jake is doing great and life is hunky dory. :)

Not having the internet might free up some time for you. I just finished The Host that you gave me and it was an enjoyable read if you want to borrow it. Thanks for it. Love you guys, Kaerlig

I'd like to play Greed again soon.

We like to watch TV online too. It is so much better!! No commercials. That sounds yummy about the diarrhea...I sure respect nurses after giving birth, they put up with a lot--even from the doctors. I saw my doctor be really rude to the nurse in my delivery room and felt so bad for her! Sounds like you are all doing well!

These will probably be the most productive months ever for you! If I didn't waste time online I'd probably get so much more done. Oh, and I've never had a dishwasher once in my entire life. A microwave is nice though. :) thanks for coming to the shower! It was SO fun to see you!

Oh my goodness!! I have shed a little tear on your behalf. No dishwasher? No microwave? No bueno!

So I thought you were my other friend Katie until just now. Your blog is a whole new world for me! YAY! I will be peeking at you a bunch!

I am assuming you will be around for the Christmas Part-ay?
